Production method of methyl anthranilate
Put phthalic anhydride in ammonia water at 0 ℃, complete within 1 ～ 2min. When the temperature rises to 48 ～ 50 ℃, add sodium hydroxide solution at 5 ℃, the temperature is controlled below 70 ℃, and the reaction solution remains alkaline. Ammonia was discharged at 60 ～ 65 ℃ for 10h to obtain sodium orthoformamide sodium benzoate solution.
Cool it to -12 ° C, add methanol at -10 ° C, add sodium hypochlorite solution at -10 ° C with stirring, and maintain the reaction below 0 ° C for 1 h. Then raise the temperature to about 20 ° C and test with potassium iodide starch solution until a colorless reaction occurs.
Heat to 45 ° C to dissolve, transfer to the precipitation tank and let stand for 8h, separate the mother liquor, take the oil layer and filter it, then let stand for layering to obtain methyl anthranilate with a yield of over 90%.
Heat the methanol solution of anthranilic acid to 65 ° C, add sulfuric acid dropwise, and react at 75 ° C to form the sulfate of methyl anthranilate.
After neutralization with sodium hydroxide, methyl anthranilate is precipitated, extracted with toluene, the toluene extract is washed, and toluene is distilled off, and finally the product is distilled under reduced pressure in the presence of sodium carbonate.
