Polyethylenimine Usage
The degree of polymerization of polyethyleneimine used in the paper industry is about 100.
Polyethyleneimine has high reaction activity, can react with hydroxyl groups in cellulose and crosslink and polymerize, so that the paper produces wet strength.
The presence of any acid, alkali and aluminum sulfate will affect its wet strength and retention rate.
Used as a wet strength agent for unsized breathable paper. The retention aid and beating agent in the papermaking process can reduce the beating degree of the pulp, improve the dewatering ability of the paper, can accelerate the filtration of the pulp, and make the fine water in the white water. Easy to flocculate.
PEI and its derivatives are used as flocculants, heavy metal adsorbents and surfactants in the field of water treatment and gas purification; they are used as auxiliary synergists and water filtration accelerators in the paper industry;
