Phenylhydrazine Usage
In the production of pesticides, phenylhydrazine is used to synthesize 1-phenyl semicarbazide, an intermediate of organophosphorus pesticide triazophos, and 1-phenyl-3,6-dihydroxypyridazine, an intermediate of pyridazin.
Phenylhydrazine is also an intermediate for the new fungicides varieties famoxadone and fenamidone.
