Flupentixol Hydrochloride Usage
Flutethiophene hydrochloride is a hydrochloride form of the atypical antipsychotic drug flupentixol. It is a thiane derivative and has a strong blocking effect on dopamine receptors, in addition to blocking D1 and D2 receptors. Inhibition of D2 autoreceptors increases synaptic DA concentration.
