Chlortetracycline has inhibitory effects on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and can treat diseases such as typhoid fever and white diarrhea in livestock and poultry.
It can also be used as a growth promoting agent for pig feed. For broiler feeds under 10 weeks of age, the dosage is 20-50g/t, the withdrawal period is 7 days;
