Calcium formate Usage
Calcium formate decomposes and frees formic acid in the intestines and stomach of animals, reduces the pH in the intestines and stomach, is beneficial to activate pepsinogen, promotes digestion, and has antibacterial effects. The addition amount is 1.0%-1.5%.
Used as a feed additive, suitable for all kinds of animals, with acidification, anti-mildew, antibacterial effects
For leather tanning
preservative. Diuretic effect. EEC countries are allowed to use it, but the UK is not allowed.
Calcium formate Chemical nature
White crystal or crystalline powder. The Ph value of 1mol/L aqueous solution is 6.0～7.5. It decomposes at 400℃. It is easily soluble in water (16.5g/100ml, 20℃; 18.4g/100ml, 100℃).
Calcium formate production method
(1) Lime milk and CO are obtained by reaction under pressure and heating (PY).
(2) It is made by neutralizing formic acid and petrochemical milk.
It is derived from the neutralization of formic acid and lime milk. Milk of lime and carbon monoxide are obtained by reacting under pressure and heating.
