What’s the application of Aluminium hydroxide gel?

  • Properties: white powder, odorless and tasteless. Insoluble in water and ethanol, soluble in dilute inorganic acids such as hydrochloric acid.
  • Main control indicators: acid making force: not less than 230ml/g, content: not less than 48.0% according to aluminum trioxide (not less than 76.5% according to aluminum hydroxide).
  • Product quality implementation standard: Chinese Pharmacopoeia CP2010 edition / USP30 edition of the United States Pharmacopeia.
  • Packaging, storage and transportation Double-layer polyethylene plastic bags for internal bags, single-layer polyethylene plastic woven bags or paper-plastic composite bags and cardboard drum packaging for external packaging; Net weight per bag 20kg.
  • It should be stored in a dry warehouse. Packaging should be completely sealed to prevent moisture. It cannot be co-stored and mixed with acid goods.
  • Ton volume: 2.8 cubic meters / ton.
  • Identification Take an appropriate amount of fine powder of this product (about 0.5g equivalent to aluminum hydroxide), dilute 10ml of hydrochloric acid, heat and dissolve, filter, and the filtrate shows the identification reaction of aluminum salts (Appendix III.).
