4-tert-Butylphenol Usage
1. It is used as a raw material for the acaricide spiroxamine in pesticides. It has antioxidant properties and can be used as a stabilizer for rubber, soap, chlorinated hydrocarbons and nitrocellulose;
2. it is a raw material for medicines (insecticides), perfumes, synthetic resins; additives for softeners, solvents, dyes and coatings;
3. It can be used as an oil emulsion demulsifier component and a vehicle oil additive.
4. It is used in oil-soluble phenolic resin, which can be obtained by polycondensation of formaldehyde to obtain various uses.
5. For the production of polycarbonate, as a reaction terminator for phosgene polycarbonate, the amount added is 1-3% of the resin.
6. It is used for modification of epoxy resin and xylene resin; it is used as polyvinyl chloride stabilizer, surfactant and ultraviolet absorber.
