2-Ethyl anthraquinone Usage
This product is a catalyst for making hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogenation in a solvent generates 2-ethylanthracene hydroquinone, and re-oxidation regenerates 2-ethylanthraquinone and hydrogen peroxide. This reaction is used industrially to produce hydrogen peroxide.
This product is a dye intermediate, a photocurable resin catalyst, a photodegradable film, a coating, and a photosensitive polymerization initiator.
