Difurfurylsulfide Usage
Used as a food flavor.
By furfuryl mercaptan and furfuryl bromide in ether solution, in the presence of potassium hydroxide derived. It is obtained by mixing 2-furan methyl mercaptan potassium hydroxide alcohol solution and furfuryl bromide ether solution and heating to reflux.
