Octabenzone Chemical properties
Light yellow crystal or white powder. It is easily soluble in benzene, n-hexane, acetone, slightly soluble in ethanol, and slightly soluble in dichloroethane.
Octabenzone Usage
Octabenzone is a highly effective anti-aging additive with excellent performance. It can absorb 240-320nm nanometer ultraviolet rays. It has the characteristics of light color, non-toxic, good compatibility and easy processing.
Octabenzone is widely used in PE, PVC, PP, PS, polyurethane, rubber products, etc. Good compatibility with resin and low volatility.
The recommended dosage is 0.1%–0.5%.
